Cooking classes are offered for all ages. Children’s cooking classes generally involve a reading, science, historical, or cultural component.

Homeschool Kitchen Science
for ages 5-10

REGISTER
Children will learn vocabulary, science basics, and fun recipes with the help of experiments and books.
Learn about
-Cake and Rising Agents; Experiment: Seeing what happens when we use different rising agents in a cake
-Computers and Directions; Experiment: the PB&J experiment
-Nutrition Identification; Experiment: Making butter w/mason jars and food coloring
-Science of colors in food; Experiment: Purple carrot food dye
The tongue and how taste -works; Experiment: Taste test
-Density; Experiments: Layered liquid tube, salt & egg, and layered drink
