Kids will learn about music, theater, visual arts, and dance in this three-week camp that culminates in a performance of a mini musical, Go Fish!, for family and friends in Straw Hat Theatre on Friday, July 17 at 10 a.m. This is a great beginning experience for kids who have never performed before (returning performers are also very welcome!), or who want to “test drive” different art activities to see what they enjoy the most! Students should bring water and a packed lunch each day, and will need to bring a white cotton t-shirt to tie dye for the performance (Miss Nancy, the visual arts teacher, will let you know when they need to bring shirts to camp.) Students will be painting costume and set pieces, so clothing and shoes for camp should be mess-friendly!
