Maxie is ecstatic to be playing one of his dream roles, Orpheus! He was previously in Batboy the Musical as Rick/Lorraine and Percy Jackson in The Lighting Thief Musical! Maxie would like to thank his family for the relentless support, his lovely girlfriend for being his very own Eurydice, and the Lakeside Drama Department and the AAC for putting on this stellar show!

Maddie is overjoyed to be performing on the AAC stage again. Her recent shows include To Kill a Mockingbird at the AAC, Disney’s Dare to Dream, and All Together Now, both at LHS. She thanks Juliana, Maxie, and Sadie for helping her build up her confidence and feel more comfortable in this role; she hopes this performance is always singin’ in the back of your mind!

Juliana is a junior at Lakeside High School and is stoked to be playing Hermes in this production. She wants to thank Maxie, Maddie, Sadie, and her Dad for helping her form her character, and the Ashtabula Arts Center for giving her and her friends this wonderful opportunity while in hard times. She asks you to grab your tickets and enjoy the ride to Hell!

Sadie is honored to be back on the stage as Persephone in Hadestown. She has been in multiple shows, most recently as Shelley in “Batboy the Musical” at the AAC, and in “The Nutcracker”as a principal dancer with Ballet Theater Ashtabula. She is a senior, and will be attending Oberlin Conservatory to pursue her love for musical theater and dance. Enjoy the show!

I am extremely excited to perform in this wonderful production of Hadestown. It's a tremendous honor to play Hades alongside such an amazing and skilled cast. I offer my utmost appreciation to some exceptional people: my mother, for her perseverance and love; Aaron and Tracy Drews, for their dedication to the fine arts and support; Jacob McKee for his humor; and finally, the AAC, for allowing this whole production to come to fruition.

Theater has always been such an important part of my life and I'm so grateful for every opportunity to be on stage doing what I love. I want to thank my director for always pushing me to do my best, and my family for always being there to support me. I’m especially thankful to my boyfriend, Landon, for always encouraging me, cheering me on, and joining in with me. I am very passionate about theater, and I can’t wait to keep growing and sharing that passion with others.

My name is Emma Smith and I am really excited to be playing a fate in hadestown. I've been in band since 5th grade on trumpet but I've always also wanted to do theater. I'm so glad I get the chance to do this, as this show made me actually realize this is something I love doing! Enjoy the show!

I'm insanely excited for this musical! I started as a Helper and now ended up being in one of the main roles!! This cast feels like family. Our bond just keeps growing, especially with newcomers. Mr. Drews and Ms. Tracy feel like my parents, always checking on me, and the others. Mr. McKee is like an uncle, keeping us in check but also making us laugh. I'm thankful for their support, which has made me believe in myself and gain confidence.

Raegan is excited to return to the stage and join the cast of Hadestown at the AAC. When she’s not at theater, Raegan is a competitive cheerleader at Geneva Xtreme. She would like to give a special thanks to the cast members who encouraged her to audition for the show. Finally, she’s grateful for her family, friends, and you for supporting Lakeside’s theater department.

Annabella is one of the dance captains . Her role is that of one of Hades' workers. While she faced the challenge of stage fright in the past she developed techniques to manage it. She is always happy performing on stage.

Eduardo is so happy to be performing on the Arts Center stage in this incredible show. His favorite role was Charles Haversham in the play that goes wrong. He would love to thank all of his amazing friends and parents for helping him get to where he’s at today and also his director Mr Drews. And he hopes you enjoy the show!

Emmy is a sophomore at Lakeside High School and is thrilled to perform her second show, she had previously performed in All Together Now. She's been in Lakeside’s Choir since 7th grade and been in Lakeside's Show Choir since freshman year. Emmy would like to thank everyone who had supported her.

I am so excited to be able to be performing on the Arts Center stage for Hadestown. This is only my second high school show, but it has already become my favorite. Being a Worker in this show has been such a fun experience. I would like to thank my incredible girlfriend Zoie and my amazing family for always encouraging and supporting me. Also, thank you to Mr. Drews and Mrs. Tracy for working hard to make this show amazing. I hope you enjoy the show!

Hannah is very excited to participate in this year’s production and is very thankful for the AAC’s generosity. She is also in her school’s band, jazz band, tennis, and softball team. She would like to thank her cast mates and directors for their dedication and hard work in making this show a fun experience! She hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Olivia is excited to be performing in Hadestown, her first show. She also plays alto saxophone and trumpet in band and jazz band, and is part of several school clubs. She enjoys art, music, movies, and shows. She dedicates her performances to her nana, in loving memory, for her love, support, and encouragement, and to her papa, for supporting her every step of her high school career.

I am so excited to be a Worker in Hadestown. It's my first real show, and I'm so grateful to the AAC for letting us perform here and to Mr. Drews for letting me be a part of this great show. This experience means so much to me, and I’m really excited to keep doing theater.

Ana is excited to be part of Hadestown, her first major production. She is involved in Model UN, Dragon Plus, Yearbook, and Student Council, and enjoys being active in her school community. Ana would like to thank her friends and family for their support and hopes you enjoy the show!
