Natalie is a rising Sophomore at Geneva High School. This is her 15th theatre production. Most recently she played Alice in Alice by Heart at GHS. Natalie is extremely excited for her first lead at AAC. When she is not on stage, she enjoys participating in the band. Natalie would like to thank her family and the Griffiths for all the rides to practice.

Philip is extremely excited to perform on the Straw Hat theatre for the first time. He had the immense honor of performing as Hades in Hadestown as his first and most recent performance. Philip is quite fond of the Wizard of Oz as it was the first musical he experienced. Philip would love to thank everybody who has supported his pursuits in music and theatre, and AAC for allowing so many spectacular shows to come to fruition. He hopes that the Magical Land of oz will prove to be as entertaining and entrancing as ever.

Ethan is beyond thrilled to be playing his first lead role in Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition. This is Ethan’s 8th production having some featured roles like Larry the Lobster in SpongeBob the Musical: Youth Edition last summer and the Bishop in Frozen Broadway Edition at Edgewood High School. Outside of doing theater at AAC, Ethan loves making art and listening to music. He is super grateful for the amazing cast and crew that helped make this production happen. Ethan thanks Pat Surbella for helping with his costume. Enjoy the show.

Zane attends Cornerstone Christian Academy where he has participated in Newsies Jr.(Davey), Frozen Jr. (Hans), Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella Youth, Sound of Music Youth, and Mary Poppins Jr. Last summer he made his debut in Straw Hat in Romeo & Juliet. He would like to thank his family and the production team for the support and opportunity to do this.

Rosalie is so proud to be a part of her 8th production with AAC. Rosalie is a 9th grader this year at Geneva High School and outside of theater she enjoys playing clarinet in the band along with the six other instruments she plays and spending time with big sister Sydney. Rosalie wants to thank her amazing directors, all the production crew, and all the parents for their support in making this program a success!

Joëlle is a soon to be 4th grader at Superior Intermediate. She has been a part of the AAC family for a number of years and loves acting, drawing, creating and entertaining friends and family. She was recently in Elf Jr, Beauty in the Beast, Beetlejuice, and High School Musical Jr.

Kenzie is thrilled to be appearing as Glinda the Good Witch! This marks Kenzie’s 15th production at the Arts Center, and she continues to grow her love of theater with every performance. Most recently, she appeared in the Straw Hat production of Mean Girls as part of the amazing ensemble cast. Some of her favorite past roles include Lydia in Beetlejuice Jr., Dory in Finding Nemo Jr., and Jovie in Elf Jr.. When she isn’t shining on stage, Kenzie enjoys spending time with friends, playing guitar, creating amazing crafts, and playing volleyball. Kenzie would like to thank her family and friends for their endless love and support, her castmates and production team for all of their hard work, and you—the audience—for supporting the arts and making live theater possible. Kenzie hopes you enjoy the show… but she also has one important question: “Are you a good witch… or a bad witch?”

This is Tori’s 7th production at the Ashtabula Arts Cetner and she is so excited to play the Wicked Witch. Most recently Tori was on stage in “High School Musical” as Ms. Darbus. She would like to thank the production team for this chance and Lisa and Brian Talladino for all the rides. She couldn’t do it without them.

This is Kenley's fourth time at the Ashtabula Arts Center and she is thrilled to be in "Wizard of Oz.” Previously she has been seen in Mary Poppins, High School Musical Jr, Guys and Dolls, Mean Girls the Musical, Finding Nemo Jr, Legally Blonde Jr, and Lion King Jr. When she is not on stage she is listening to rock 80s and 70s music and singing in choir and going to concerts. Many thanks to her mom for driving her to practice every day. She also would like to thank the directors for believing in her and giving her a chance to be on stage here. I hope you like the show, love you all.

This is Angelo’s 3rd performance at the Arts Center. He would like to thank his friends and family for all of their support, and a special thank you to the Director and all the behind the scenes helpers who have made this production of The Wizard of Oz so successful! Enjoy the show and remember, “We can’t go against the Law, Dorothy.”

Harper is very excited to take the stage again for her 10th show at AAC. At school Harper is involved in the band, gifted art program, and project love. When she is not at school or the AAC you find her hanging out with her theater gang! Harper would like to thank her mom, dad, and brother Gavin for all the rides to and from rehearsal. She would also like to thank everyone else in her life that takes time to come out and see her and support her dreams.

Sharon is so excited to be in the AAC’s production of the Wizard of Oz Jr. This will be her 7th show at AAC. You might have seen her previously as Sharpay in High School Musical Jr. She would like to thank her family, friends, and cast for cheering her on.

Sam is a rising 5th grader at Kingsville Elementary where he serves on Student Council. His stage credits include Elf Jr. (Fake Santa), Beauty and the Beast Jr., Beetlejuice Jr. (Bob), and High School Musical Jr. He wants to thank his family and the cast and crew for such and “Ozmazing” summer experience.

Colton is 10 and is going into 5th grade at Austinburg Elementary. He is excited to be in his 11th production. His past productions are Winnie the Pooh Kids, Rats, Finding Nemo Jr. , Pinocchio Jr., It’s a Jungle Out There, Elf Jr., Beauty and the Beast Jr., Beetlejuice Jr., and Mary Poppins as Michael Banks. He’d like to thank Carolyn and everyone else involved in the Wizard of Oz. He would also like to thank his family and friends.

Eleanor is in the 6th grade. When she is not acting she is playing the piano. Some of her 23 performances include Willy Wonka, Finding Nemo Jr., Honk Jr., It’s a Jungle Out There, Matilda, Junie B. Jones, The 33 Little Pigs, Elf Jr., Spongebob, and Beauty and the Beast Jr..

Charlotte is in the 5th grade. When she is not acting, she is singing or playing softball. Thank you for letting me join the show.

Addie is very excited to be included in this production of Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition! She has been in 14 shoes, her favorites being High School Musical Jr., Guys and Dolls, Mean Girls (that opened the Straw Hat Season) and now Wizard of Oz. Outside of theater Addie plays softball and volleyball. She would like to thank everyone who made this show so amazing!

This is Penelope’s first time acting on stage having previously been a techie for a production of Mary Poppins. She is excited to start her journey into acting.

This is Luci’s first show on stage at the Arts Cetner but she participates in shows at Geneva High School. She was in Decision Height, Alice by Heart, and Check Please. She participates in marching band and loves her family very much.

Kamryn goes to Kingsville Elementary School. Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition is her very first show at The Ashtabula Arts Center and she’s had a lot of fun. She thanks her grandpa for bringing her to practice every night.

This is Leia’s 5th show at AAC. She is very excited to share some singing and dancing with you tonight. Past productions include Finding Nemo Jr as Nigel and as Death by a Toaster in Beetlejuice Jr. She would like to thank her cast for being there, the staff for working hard to keep the show running smoothly. Don’t forget to FOLLOW THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD!

This is Teagan's second Youth Production. In her first Youth Production she played Michael, Matilda's younger brother in "Matilda!" She is very excited for the "Wizard of Oz!"

Carson is a rising 3rd grader loves laughing, gaming sports, acting, and, last-but-not-least his family!

This is Emerald’s 4th production at the Arts Center. She has been in Rats & Seussical, and as Pinocchio in Pinocchio. She is honored to be performing in this year’s Wizard of Oz, and is looking forward to learning more this summer and audition for 13th Street Productions in the fall.

Cadence is 15 years old and thrilled to be part of her very first show with Straw Hat Theater. Her favorite show she’s done outside of straw hat was Matilda at SJS. She is deeply grateful to Ms. Kile, her high school director, for always encouraging her to try new things and pursue the stage.

Quinn attends Braden Middle School. This is her first production at AAC. Quinn wants to thank her mom and friends for being supportive. She looks forward to being in many more shows in the future.

Amanda has previously been an ancestor in The Addams Family, Patrick in SpongeBob the Musical, and part of the ensemble in Frozen, the Broadway Musical. Her hobbies include drawing, karaoke and watching YouTube. Amanda would like to thank her family, the cast and the crew for supporting her. She hopes you will enjoy the Wizard of Oz!

This is Pippi’s 5th show at the Arts Center. She has been a spunky secretary (Elf Jr.), a whirling whisk (Beauty & the Beast Jr.), a lurching lawyer and gregarious girl scout (Beetlejuice Jr.), and she can’t wait for you to see her as a marvelous Munchkin and wild winged monkey in the Wizard of Oz. Enjoy the show!

This is Aubree’s first show. She likes ice cream and singing. She loves her family and is happy that everyone is here to see her on stage.

Adalynn is so excited to be a Munchkin in the Ashtabula Arts Center’s production of the Wizard of Oz. She is 7 years old and this is her first performance. She loves singing and making new friends, so she has really enjoyed being a part of the show.

This is Asher’s first performance at the Ashtabula Arts Center and he is excited to be a part of the production as a munchkin. Asher is 8 years old and just finished 2nd grade. He enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is looking forward to being on stage for the first time and making new friends. Asher hopes everyone enjoys the show.
