Kara Cervelli brings over 35 years of teaching experience to our program. She has trained in a variety of dance styles including tap, ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical, character, and folk dancing. She has performed, taught, and choreographed with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, American Dance Ensemble, Carnegie Ballet Company, The Dance Factory, Rabbit Run Community Arts Association, and the Pittsburgh Folk Festival. Kara is also a seasoned actress and has appeared in several community theatre productions. She is a graduate of Ohio University with a BS degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in dance.
