Auditions for the Rescued from the Mess production of “The Anastasia Trials in the Court of Women”

Auditions will be held at the Ashtabula Arts Center Saturday, June 9 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and Sunday, June 10, from 4:30- 6:30 p.m. for the Rescued from the Mess production of The Anastasia Trials in the Court of Women by Carolyn Gage, directed by Marti Dixon. There are roles for 9 adult women of varying ages. Readings will be from the script. Performance dates are July 20-21 & 27-28 in Straw Hat Theatre. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m. Presented by Rescued from the Mess and Theatre on the Edge.

Open Call Straw Hat Auditions

There will be an extra set of auditions for the Straw Hat Theatre shows 9 to 5, Into the Woods Jr, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Forever Plaid this weekend; Saturday, March 24 from 10 a.m.-noon, & Sunday, March 25 from 6-8 p.m. Open call – no appointments are needed for this weekend.

Auditions for the G.B. Community Theatre production of Ghost, directed by Lynne Montgomery, will be held Wednesday, January 17 & Thursday, January 18 at the Ashtabula Arts Center from 6:30-8 p.m.

Please come prepared to read from the script and with a short song, as well as a complete list of calendar conflicts for the director — commitment is important! Anyone is welcome to audition, and we also always need volunteers willing to work backstage, in concessions, as ushers, and more.

Auditions for “Brighton Beach Memoirs” Nov. 27 & 28

Auditions for the G.B. Community Theatre production of Brighton Beach Memoirs, by Neil Simon, directed by Stephen Rhodes, will be held Monday, November 27 & Tuesday, November 28 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Ashtabula Arts Center. Actors should come prepared to read from the script, or with a reading of their own, as well as a complete list of calendar conflicts for the director.

Performance dates: Feb. 16-18, 23-25, Mar. 2-4.
