Jennifer Overholser creates her oil paintings in her home studio in Greenville, Ohio.

She was born in Jefferson, Ohio in the northeastern corner of the state. Her earliest inspiration for creating art came from drawing with her mom at the kitchen table, who loved to create ink drawings. She obtained a Bachelor’s of Art degree from Otterbein University where she studied painting and visual communication. While in college, she interned at Brandt-Roberts Galleries in the Short North and worked for the Ohio Arts League Riffe Gallery. Beginning in 2016, Jennifer was selected as the Artist of Residence at Otterbein University and spent the next year focusing intensely on her painting technique. While studying at Otterbein, Jennifer met her husband who introduced her to Darke county. She fell in love with the area and is now happy to call Greenville home. Jennifer’s work has been on display at the Ohio State Fair, the Ohio Art League’s juried show, the Conneaut Arts Center, as a guest at Sharon Weiss gallery, and several group and solo exhibitions across Ohio.
