Artist’s Reception: Friday, Jan. 12, 6-8 p.m.
Nancy Nelson-Brotz has been part of the arts family in Madison for years through her art education work at Rabbit Run Community Arts Association, the Painesville Recreation Department, Perry Library, Madison Library, Mentor Senior Center, the Painesville Senior Center, and Stella’s Art Gallery. Recently, she has been spending most of her energy and spare time placing tiny pieces of glass and found objects into some semblance of order. She has won many awards for her mosaic work, and also spends time creating oil pastel, inspired by the beauty and nature around her. She is especially inspired by Lake Erie. Her current projects include creating a studio space at home, playing with a new pottery wheel, and teaching classes.
