Book by Hugh Wheeler from an adaptation by Christopher Bond

In 19th Century London, a bloody business is thriving. Unjustly exiled barber Sweeney Todd has returned to the city bent on revenge. When he meets the pragmatic Mrs. Lovett, owner of a struggling meat pie shop, whose head for business and stomach for slaughter make her an eager accomplice to Todd’s vendetta, a gruesome partnership is born — one that has everyone in London lining up for a taste. (Sweeney Todd is not recommended for audiences under 13 due to adult themes and some depictions of graphic violence.)
