As a child Hoyle was introduced to the culture and music of his ancestors by his father’s mother, Julia Hoyle, who also got him interested in the “little people,” or leprechauns. Through the years, Hoyle’s love of all things Irish never waned. He studied voice at the Cleveland Institute of Music and then continued to refine his technique under Cleveland voice instructor, Leslie Varnick. He has been singing Irish songs professionally for more than 40 years.
