Concerts on the Lawn 2016: John Hoyle & Brian Carroll-Hunt on Wednesday, July 13

The next of the summer Concerts on the Lawn series at the Ashtabula Arts Center will feature traditional Irish and Scottish music performed by John Hoyle and Brian Carroll-Hunt.

Hoyle, an Irish tenor, studied voice at the Cleveland Institute of Music. He plays the tin whistle and the bodrhan, a traditional Irish framedrum played with a double-headed stick or beater, and recently played at the arts center for the spring dance concert, “Without Walls.” Hunt is a guitarist who also performs with the group “Forsythe Special.” Hoyle and Hunt have been playing together for over 20 years.
