Week 1: “ A New Beginning”
This week’s class is all about new beginnings. If this is your first class, let’s work through a sequence that will “open your heart” to the practice. If you have tried yoga before but have been feeling stuck in a rut this class will help you start fresh through movement and breathe.
Week 2: “Twist and Release”
This week’s class is about finding release through a sequence of gentle twisting postures that will allow you to release and decompress from your week.
Week 3: “At the Core”
This week’s class is all about finding a center in your core. The core is a foundation of the body and in this class, you will learn beginner poses on how to ignite your core and use the breath to coordinate with the strengthening and lengthening of your core.
Week 4: “ Good Day Sunshine”
This week’s class is a gentle sun salutation flow to awaken and energize you to the summer months ahead.  This sequence will not only calm your mind but help to burn more calories than more isolated poses often burn.
Week 5: “Quieting the Mind”
This week’s sequence is about finding peace through the chaos of life. We will be doing a sequence tailored at slowing down and letting go of the stressors of life by quieting the mind and channeling it into your breath.
Week 6: “Grounding into Gratitude”
This week’s sequence is all about finding a way to “ground” in a world that seems to constantly be moving. In this class, we will work through a sequence that will connect you more to the earth and through that allow your mind to find more gratitude for what you have in your life.
Week 7: “Not Balancing it All”
This week’s class is about finding what you can balance, not what you think you should be balancing. We will delve into a sequence that will help to improve our balance and deepen that vital connection to our mind and body.
