Fall Student Music Recital

Family and friends are invited to our Fall Student Music Recital, featuring students of Natella Askerova (piano), James Fuller (brass), Kimberly Godfrey (voice), Lyn Rocco (piano), Caitlin Rose (voice), and Geoffrey Wands (woodwinds). A reception in the art gallery will follow the performances.

The Good Life Presents “Christmas Conversations”

“Christmas Conversations” will include a program of songs that have been performed by the Good Life Singers throughout the years. The program features many classics including “It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “We Need a Little Christmas,” “Silent Night,” and many more.

“The Good Life” is a nonprofit group of volunteers who have been performing across Northeast Ohio since 1976. They are available to sing at festivals, fundraisers, and other venues. Anyone who enjoys singing and is interested in joining is invited to audition. Call the arts center for more information.

Current Good Life members include Director Bridget Sherman and Accompanist Nora Giangola, and singers Joanne Carpenter, Susan Deak, Linda Downey, Susan Haytcher, Dee Dee Justice, Jacquie Konter, Peggie LaDu, Anne Thome, Renee Vanderson, Rhana When, Chris Bailey, Marie Conoboy, Emily Fisher, Pauline Headman, Karen Holub, Pat Kenny, Pat Van Allen, Troy Bailey, Shawn Hunstburger, Brenda Greenawalt, Kevin Oltmanns, Norm Simko, Will Todd, Colleen Carraher, Jim Gilbert, Will Greenawalt, Hobart Shiflet, Ron Loos, and Gary Quine. Narrators for this performance are Lucille Licata and Jean Vandetti.

Student String Recital

Parents, family, and friends enjoy the students of Carol Linsenmeier and John Linsenmeier as they advance in playing their string instruments. The recital includes the Ashtabula Arts Center Late Starters Orchestra and the Children’s String Orchestra.

Come in from the cold to enjoy a concert put on by your favorite Snow Queen, Elsa, and her sister Anna. We will even include a sing-a-long. Don’t forget to bring your camera for the meet and greet following the performance.

Alex Bevan is an Emmy-winning guitarist, singer, songwriter, poet, radio personality, and music producer living in North Madison, Ohio. He has been actively involved with the music business for over 40 years and has a wealth of great songs and stories to share.
